If an expectation is taken as pure certaintity

No, I am not trying to be a philosopher. It's just that I decided to keep typing whatever idea that popup in my mind, but now I am stuck. From where do I start? Maybe I should give the title of my blog only after I stop writing and decide to publish it.

Do not judge me if I am biased on what I say, and I am not expecting anyone to believe whatever I say. Okay, the word 'expecting' triggered me to write my view on expecting less in life. Not just you, not just me either, but almost everyone keeps on expecting loads as we keep living. I chose to say, almost everyone, indicating my consideration for a few exceptional humans. Our expectations are limitless, and it begins as we open our eyes in the morning from our sleep.

I do not see a necessity in listing down all the possible expectations we make. Take a few moments to reflect on what you have expected in the past ten minutes. Getting a beautiful birthday wish from your closest person? Your crush to agree for a date over a candle-light dinner? Expected your boss to promote you for your outstanding performance in the past few days? Whatsoever, and the list continues. Let us have a common understanding that all expectations are in the fantasy world of the mind. Our mind is crazy, isn't it? Expectations gradually get knitted in our minds as certainties. Nothing can be said for certain from someone if it is not you.

Many say, expectations hurt and that's true. I won't say you not to expect anything in life. It is very normal to expect but do not take any expectation as pure certainty. Meaning, expect the unexpected and not to expect the expected. Maybe I should stop this bluffing here. I am skeptical of what meaning I have conveyed. I know my words would have made no sense to some but I am taking leave by giving the title of this blogpost, 'if an expectation is taken as pure certainty'.
