  1. Mock Exam II, model answer question 18... Why is cost price multiplied by 1.2 to find selling price? From where did the 1.2 come from and the same method doesn't seem to work on question 38 of Mock Exam 11

    1. Hello there ! Thanks for being the first one to use this forum. 20% profit means 120% of the cost price. 120/100 =1.2. Hope this helps you to understand. You can further discuss there for any further clarification. Regards
